About

A peaceful resting spot in an area of outstanding natural beauty situated on the edge of the famous ancient Roman city of Bath.

Applegates Glamping offers lovely accommodation in a comfortably furnished Shepherd's Hut or Yurt. Applegates is a truly relaxing experience, overlooking the beautiful views across the Bybrook River Valley.

If you are looking for a countryside break, a city break or a mixture of the two then Applegates is the perfect rest point for you.

Applegates is all about a happy and relaxed atmosphere to keep the animals as calm and comfortable as our guests! The site has chickens and horses, a big black and white cat who loves the guests and a Spanish rescue dog.

The Location: There are footpaths all around offering the chance to explore the beautiful country surroundings by foot. From Applegates it's only a mile walk to a very good local pub called The Crown at Bathford for food and drinks. Just a little further along is the famous George Inn on the canal path in Bathampton.
