Held in the restaurant, this small, hands-on masterclass is ideal for beginners and those looking to refine their bread-making skills. Award-winning Head Chef Matthew Briddon will guide participants through everything they "knead" to know about mastering sourdough.
The day includes refreshments, a delicious lunch at Iford Manor Kitchen, and all the materials and ingredients needed for the course.
Participants will learn to:
Start and care for a sourdough mother
Make a simple white sourdough loaf
Create olive bread
Make sourdough dough balls (perfect for pizza)
Use leftover mother for sourdough crackers (ideal for cheese and crackers)
Apply tips and tricks for kneading, shaping, scoring, and baking
Take home:
Iford sourdough starter to nurture at home
Four sourdough recipes
A sourdough loaf made by you during the class

10:00 – Masterclass begins
