About

Wookey Hole Caves is one of the UK’s largest show cave systems, lying deep below the Mendip Hills. It’s home of the Witch of Wookey Hole and offers a magical and historical day out for explorers of all ages.

Lots of fun whatever the weather!

When you visit Wookey Hole, you’ll enjoy an experience millions of years in the making. There is plenty to do inside and out, from vintage penny arcades to museums, adventure golf, and soft play, to name but a few of the attractions. Not forgetting the breathtakingly beautiful caves, for which Wookey Hole is renowned.

There is always a great film to watch in the 4D cinema! These change on a regular basis throughout the year so make sure you check out the website to see what will be on when you visit!

What you need to know:

Please wear sensible shoes as the floor in the caves can be uneven and wet in places.
Buggies cannot be taken through the caves.
Unfortunately, Wookey Hole cannot currently allow dogs on-site, other than guide dogs.
The caves are not wheelchair accessible. There is a 45-minute virtual tour available in the Mill.

The fantastic Wookey Hole Circus creates and performs 3 original shows per year, these are in the theatre at weekends and during school holidays. Prepare to be dazzled by these super talented performers.
