On the opposite side of Bath, Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park is being transformed into Summertopia. Back in the city centre, try the latest addition to Bath's repertoire of walking tours, 'The Frankenstein Experience.' Created by Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein and Show of Strength Theatre Company, this one-hour tour will let you learn more about the author's life in Bath and the city's key role in inspiring her work. You'll also enjoy entry to the museum and a complimentary cocktail included in the price of your ticket.

This summer, The Assembly Rooms is welcoming artist Emily Corl’s LEGO® Brick Paintings Exhibition. Marvel at two art collections of a never-before-seen style which uses the beloved toy bricks as a canvas, with a range of accompanying family-friendly activities including DUPLO® crafting activities and brick painting workshops. Emily Corl herself will also be in residence on certain days, creating a custom piece of artwork for The Assembly Rooms.
No visit to Bath would be complete without a trip to The Jane Austen Centre. Step back in time to Austen's Bath, with costumed guides bringing the author's iconic characters to life as you enjoy an intriguing exhibition, a chance to dress up in Regency costume, a photo opportunity with Mr Darcy, and much more. Once you've had your fill, head upstairs to the Regency Tea Room and treat yourself to a delectable afternoon tea.

Keep an eye out for the range of fun family activities taking place across the city centre every Sunday as part of the Bath BID's annual 'Summer Sundays' events programme. One of this year's highlights is the 'Wylde Creatures of Bath' trail, which challenges children to find all 24 benches featuring hand-painted animals and match them to their pairs in shop windows for the chance to win a fabulous prize!
Immerse yourself in Bath's vibrant sporting scene to one of Bath Rugby's pre-season matches at The Rec.
