Abbey Ales

Local brewery Abbey Ales own several pubs in the city centre, all cosy and traditional with a great selection of local and national cask ales. The Star Inn dates from the 18th Century and still has many of its original features (it's listed on the National Inventory of Heritage Pubs), while The Coeur de Lion is Bath's Smallest Pub, tucked down a side street in the city centre. If you're a sports fan, head to The Assembly Inn to watch the latest rugby or football fixtures, or take a seat in the hidden garden at The Hop Pole near Royal Victoria Park.
