The snow-covered Christmas chalets are back lining the city centre streets for a magical, festive experience this Christmas, as the award-winning Bath Christmas Market makes a welcome return for 17 days.
Browse over 200 stalls selling a variety of treats including bespoke jewellery, homeware, food, drink and much more against the backdrop of the city's stunning World Heritage architecture illuminated by stunning light displays.
This year, Bath Christmas Market is bringing back its Christmas Carts, giving smaller local businesses an opportunity to attend the event for the first time, allowing you to discover the breadth of talent on display in the city and wider region.
Christmas Makers Market at Bath Royal Literary & Scientific Institution
Thursday 23 November - Saturday 9 December
Running concurrently with Bath Christmas Market, the Bath Royal Literary & Scientific Institution will be platforming a range of independent producers ranging from artists to sustainable jewellers at their makers market. The stallholders will change every few days, so be sure to visit regularly throughout the open period to find something new. What's more, there are gifts to suit every budget, with every item costing between £5 and £200, and money raised will support the Institution's charitable aims.

Keynsham Winter Festival
Friday 24 November
Keynsham will be hosting its annual Winter Festival between 6 and 9pm, including a wide range of stalls selling locally sourced quality gifts and edible treats. You can also enjoy community exhibits, live entertainment across multiple stages, and a visit from Father Christmas.

Festive Evening at Newton Farm Shop and Cafe
Thursday 30 November
Newton Farm Shop and Café on the outskirts of Bath has an evening of merriment in store this November. Enjoy live music from the local Orchard Brass Band, tastings of the farm’s award-winning food, a home-reared hog roast with all the trimmings, Thirsty Elves Bar, a Christmas raffle with the chance to win a luxury hamper, and an extensive range of gifts from a variety of local stallholders. You can also enjoy a festive drink on the house from 5pm. Entry is free, but you must book online here.

The Bath Independent Christmas Market
Sunday 17 December
After you’ve finished making your way around Bath Christmas Market, take a ten minute walk to the west of the city for a special edition of the monthly Independent Market, held at Green Park Station between 11am and 4pm. Browse a wide range of unique handmade gifts, including art, design, jewellery, eco-friendly products, and more. As you wander around the station, be sure to enjoy even more treats at some of the venue's superb permanent fixtures, including award-winning food and drink from Bath Pizza Co and Green Park Brasserie.

Bath Soft Cheese Christmas Market
Sunday 17 December
Head just a few miles outside the city centre to beloved local business Bath Soft Cheese's Park Farm headquarters in nearby Kelston. There, you'll not only find a Christmas market packed with traders selling mouth-watering food and a fantastic selection of handmade crafts, but experiences including roasting marshmallows over the firepit, Christmas crafts in the milking parlour, a chance to meet the animals, and plenty of seasonal food and drink treats in the café.
