About

Dig in to a slice of modern folk horror in 2023's Starve Acre, starring Matt Smith and Morfyyd Clark. In the rural setting of 1970's Yorkshire, a young couple find that there's evil lurking in the land...

This stylish feature calls back to the folk horror films of the 70's, drawing on paganism and archaeology as a gateway to something darker. We will be joined for a post-film Q&A with director Daniel Kokotajlo and author Andrew Michael Hurley.

This event is part of the Bath Archaeo-Heritage Film Festival, a five-day celebration of archaeology and heritage in cinema. Find out more at BAHfilmfestival.co.uk
