There are free themed children's crafting activities all summer at Herschel Museum of Astronomy, No.1 Royal Crescent, Holburne Museum, Victoria Art Gallery, and the newly-reopened Beckford’s Tower, or little ones can take part in a range of summer holiday crafting activities included in the price of admission at The Roman Baths, enjoy games and creative fun at Dyrham Park, and explore the family nature trail at Westonbirt Arboretum.
Keep an eye out for a range of fun, family-friendly activities across Bath city centre every Sunday in July and August, or play outdoor games at Bath on the Beach, located next to the crazy golf course in Royal Victoria Park.
For more outdoor entertainment, the Garden Theatre Festival returns from 10-21 July, and Bath Carnival takes over the city centre on Saturday 13 July.

Outside the city
Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park are hosting a range of events and activities throughout the summer holidays, including talent shows and circus skills, plus sand and water play areas, a giant slip 'n' slide and more. Book up to 24 hours in advance and enjoy a £2 discount per ticket.
You can spend a whole day adventuring at Wookey Hole, where your ticket includes entrance to Wookey Hole Caves, museums, circus shows, Dinosaur Grove, a 4D Cinema and even the world's first #CaveMoon hidden deep within the Caves to be discovered after a guided tour.
Car-crazy kids will love the exhibits at Haynes Motor Museum, while dino fans should head to Longleat to get up close with dinosaurs big and small.

Travelling to and around Bath
Travel to Bath by train with GWR this summer, with trains to Bath Spa from London, Bristol, Cardiff and beyond. If you are travelling in a group of between 3 and 9 adults, you can get a 1/3 off Standard Off-Peak tickets when travelling together with the GroupSave ticket.
Explore Bath and the surrounding area by bus with new simplified fares from First Bus - adult tickets are just £2 or £1 for a child ticket.
