Step into the world of Jane Austen’s Persuasion and immerse yourself in an evening of Regency elegance.

The Summer Balls are mandatory Regency costumed events and it is requested that all ladies and gentlemen dress in the style of the Regency or 18th Century period.

Flat shoes must be worn. HEELS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE DANCE FLOOR.

Rough Summer Ball evening timings:
19:00 - Guildhall doors open
19:30 - Dancing commences in the Banqueting Room
20:45 - 21:45 - Supper break TBC for 2025
23:00 - Finish
