The festive fine-dining experience will feature live music, setting the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne or a gin and tonic on arrival, followed by a six-course tasting menu, with the option to add a paired wine flight. The dining room will be adorned with festive decorations and traditional crackers to enhance the seasonal spirit.
Owner and Manager William Cartwright-Hignett will personally greet each guest, while Head Chef Matthew Briddon will introduce the menu at the start of the evening, offering insights into the craftsmanship behind each dish and the flavours being showcased.
The menu reflects a commitment to honesty, locality, and freshness, with many ingredients sourced directly from the Iford Manor walled garden or the Iford Estate. The focus on sustainability is evident in the kitchen's efforts to minimise waste, using all parts of the animal or vegetable whenever safe and feasible.
