About

Bath Ghost Tours are the premier ghost tour available in the city, the only ghost tour available that directly involves the audience, even to the point of offering the opportunity to take part in a genuine paranormal experiment.

The ghost tours are a thrilling tour around the many haunts of beautiful Bath. You will discover tales of murder, mayhem, witch burnings, hangings, medieval monks, duels, tortures, desperate suicides, poltergeists and even romantic elopements (not every ghost has to be tragic!).

The ghost tours are an exciting blend of grisly story-telling, theatre, audience participation and paranormal experiments, and are suitable for all the family, you can even bring a well-behaved family dog along.  Bath Ghost tours are bookable as both open public tours (open to everyone, running on the nights listed below at 8pm), as well as on a private basis (available almost every night of the year at 6pm or 8.30pm for your own private group/function).

The public tours operate on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 1 March to late December, and between June and October, tours will also be available seven nights a week. There will also be occasional special nights on offer, such as 31 October. The tours depart at 8pm outside Bath Abbey and last for approximately 105 minutes.

Prices for tours in 2024 are £16 for adults and £11 for children and students. Private tours are available throughout the year, with prices dependent upon the number of participants - full details can be found on the website

Unless otherwise arranged, all ghost tours meet and depart from outside the main door of the Bath Abbey. When attending a tour, guests are asked to remember to wear suitable clothing for the weather, as tours are run in all conditions. Attendees are also asked to arrive no later than 5 minutes before each tour begins. The dead are waiting for you!
